Custom records take anywhere from 3-5 days to create, and 5-7 days to ship domestic in the US.

Long answer: to connect my art with music in multiple ways; through the artist on the actual physical record, and through the artist I’m painting a record that they inspired.
Short answer: it’s cheaper than canvases or other materials.

No. Keep the record that is special to you. It would put an added pressure on myself to make sure the piece comes out perfectly, and I don’t want to let anyone down.

Usually from record stores. Donated from friends, followers, and sometimes thrift stores or Goodwill.

They’re not perfectly good records. The records I paint on are scratched, unplayable, or damaged. Plus, I’d rather paint over these records instead of letting them sit in a landfill.
